About Us

FULL SEND!

CU Trampoline is a Recognized Student Organization (RSO) at CU Boulder, notable as the first university-affiliated trampoline gymnastics club in the USA.

Gymnastics is an incredible discipline for building strength, life-long skills, and confidence. It is also notoriously expensive, especially for college students living on tight budgets. By utilizing grant funds from a number of university boards, CU Trampoline keeps membership free and open to everyone. We are also sponsored by Free Solo Trampoline, a USA Gymnastics Member Club that provides professional coaching and equipment.

In order to keep practices free or as low cost as possible, we juggle locations every week. Practices held at an outdoor location in Niwot, just 15-20 minutes from campus, are always $0. Other locations such as Airborne Gymnastics and Snobahn require a drop-in door fee, charged by the facility, usually $20. If you’re new to our club and joining us at a Snobahn or Airborne location, please ask us about a free pass! We’d love to hook you up.

We pride ourselves on the amazing “Full Send” community we've built, and the range of aerial skills our members enjoy developing and improving. From tuck jumps to double front flips, back flips, and even triffs, our RSO is where you’ll meet new people at your level who want to learn new skills with you.

Our Story

In June of 2023, Emerson Scott (Computer Science BA major) won two gold medals at the USA Gymnastics National T&T Championships: 1st place, synchronized trampoline with partner Toby Scott of Seattle—and 1st place, individual trampoline (Open 22+). Shortly thereafter, the University of Colorado Trampoline Club (CU Trampoline) obtained permission to hold open, free practices on CU Boulder’s Main Campus at Balch Fieldhouse. Eric Albregts served as the Club’s first VP, and Ayla Nack served as the first Treasurer (and later as second VP).

Thanks to CU Trampoline’s fun, supportive community, Emerson defended both national titles in 2024–and again in 2025–bringing home gold in synchronized and individual trampoline. Acting as our RSO’s President & Founder, Emerson demonstrated that CU Boulder could bring trampoline athletes together and provide the very best training. Today, over 200 students are registered members—but each practice is attended by a small group of athlete-scholars excited to work out with new people and learn new skills. Welcome to CU Trampoline!
